And Now A Note From Jayce!

A couple of weekends ago, my mom took me to my first dog show. She really didn't want to....she says that she has her furbabies to love...not to show. But a friend of hers who is involved with the local AKC wanted the local judges to have a chance to "judge" a hairless crested. Seems there are not too many of my "type" in Savannah. Anyway.....I had no idea what to do and neither did my mom. But that has never stopped either of us.....so we jumped right in and did our stuff.  I have to be honest, there WAS only one other crested in the competition.............but

Congratulations to both of you Jayce! Nice to see you out having a little fun! Look at them ribbons! I guess this makes you even more of a celebrity at school. I hope it doesn't go to your head! :)

Congratulations Jayce!!! I know you were the best looking dog there! I bet Mom is so proud of you! You will never stop hearing her brag to all her friends! Just get used to it Jayce, you are a star!

Bloggy Break Just a quick explanation for my lack of blogging...........first...school has been in FULL force for me since the end of July. Due to all of the federal and state mandates for schools and especially special education........I am just being hammered by paper work. I REFUSE to do paper work when my students are in my classroom because I believe if the student is in my class, I should be teaching them.......NOT doing paperwork.....which results in having to work very late after school, at home at night, and on the weekends. Right now.......I have very little life outside of school. And.....added...

A return to normalcy....at least for a day I felt really good on Saturday so "The Rev" and I took full advantage. We went out to eat at Bonna Bella Yacht Club ( not really a yacht club in the true sense of the word). Mark met us there and it was delightful. The food was delicious, the view incredible, the weather perfect, and the company great. If you are ever in Savannah.....you must check this out. It is off the beaten path to say the least....but it can be found. As you can see, if you go expecting a "yacht club" you will be disappointed. The wooden...
